Feeding problem with ar-15

My AR-15 won't feed a cartridge in the chamber when the bolt is locked open. I got 4 magazines. None of them can feed a bullet in the chamber, every time i have to use the charging handle. What do you think is wrong? I changed the A2 stock for collapsible stock but I kept the same buffer spring though.

Oh and by the way, I only have this problem since I switched the Stag lower for an Armalite one.

what bullet? hollow point, FMJ or tipped?
my Colt and Armalite did not like the winchester white box hollow point bullets, they would get caught on the feed ramps of the receiver

It can't feed when I try to reload, not when I'm shooting. But I used Winchester FMJ 55 grains and Remington FMJ 55 grain. Both can't feed using the bolt release.

The A2 rifle spring is longer than the carbine spring. Likely it is stopping the bolt going back far enough to catch the round in the mag.

Is the bolt travelling over the base of the cartridge? If so, then the round is sitting behind the bolt as you release it or too low. Are the mags locked in fully? You might not have enough return spring power.

yes the mag are locked
