Feedramps

I asked this question in the bubba thread but never got an answer. What is the difference between standard A2 feedramps and the M4 style ramps? What is the reason for the difference? Is one better than another?

I looked at the pictures but I couldn't figure out what was different.

"Normal" feed ramps are just machined in the barrel extension. M4 ramps are machined larger and the machining extends into the reciever itself.

Is one better than the other?,, well,, maybe,, maybe not. When your life may depend on it,, it is nice to have the M4 type, just in case.

I t sucks that my life may depend on 5 rounds at a time. m4 feed ramps or not.

Don't have M4 feed ramps in my Bushy M4 copy, no issues at all, if the gun runs I couldn't give a toss one way or another.

Look for the two very small cuts into the receiver that match up with the feedramps.
