brts 28 brings up a good point....

what type of numbers do you have in your stock piles? I would be lucky if I had 4000 combined and thats with my 600 Stingers. I know this is relativly small amount of .22 but some feed back would be intersting...

i have yet to see a place selling ammo by the case :(
I've never heard of a store that doesn't sell ammo by the case but only one that I can see that does (actually has cases on a shelf). Most stores don't keep cases of ammo with price tags sitting on the shelf ; way too much overhead to keep cases in stock. Every store I know of will sell ammo by the case, often at a slight discount, you just have to ask and they can bring them in.

Match 22lr ammo hasn't been very difficult to find. The $60-100/brick price tag keeps many people away. Of course match ammo isn't practical for everyone.

I buy a little bit every time the LGS has any in stock. I don't shoot much right now but will once I get time to do it. They get a couple of cases in and they sell with in days here.
