In good way!!

It was sure nice to see my UPS guy today delivering my Dillon goodies and of course I could not wait to dig in and get it setup for loading 9mm. Now that I joined up for IDPA the ammo demand is higher and was more then I wanted to tackle on my single stage press.

Here's my new Dillon 550C all optioned out except for the case feeder.

Nothing wrong with Hornady, One of the main reasons I went with the 550 is the shell plate does not auto rotate. It should work good for processing my 6.5 308 338 Lapua brass were I'm making minor adjustments to the die's so you don't have to remove the case off that station.

I really do like the lock n load bushing system, I use them on my rock Chucker.

I have had my 550 for almost 30 years now and totally love it. I made myself a little die holder mount that has all my complete die sets ready to go and a fishing hook Plano case with all my pins and powder funnel etc. all in one place. On the inside of the lid on the Plano box I have all the calibers I load for with the appropriate pin size, powder funnel and shell plate for each listed so I simple look at the caliber and it tells me what I need. Other than primer size change out the rest can be done in about 15 minutes from one caliber to another then fine tune the powder charge and away you go.
