As mentioned in another Air Pistol thread, I had mentioned to be interested in the P11 Feinwerkbau.
As it turned out with some encouragement from my wife, today I ordered the Feinwerbau P44. This thing is just plain bad ass air pistol. Target shooting has been a passion of mine for over 25 years, when my brother-in-law got me started in Bullseye shooting in conjunction with the SFC. I'm not planning on making the Nationals but I'm definately gonna be dreaming again.

I will be using an air tank. I inquired at our local safety store today for a used tank, will know more soon if they will sell me one.

I'm practicing with my Daisy tonight, scored a 156 with 4 complete misses.

Daisy 7XX model? nice guns but you will really like that German pistol when it comes in. I played a bit with it at Cibles Canada Target in Hull. Quite the pistol.
 
The Feinwerkbau is an amazing air pistol, I think it will make anyone look good, especially me. I've made some fine adjustments to the length of pull, trigger shoe angle, sight radius, sight width of rear site, angle of grip and added a bit of weight. One thing it wont do is stop me from shaking....lol It is very consistant and comfortable to shoot. My scores are respectable but never going to be outstanding. Im having fun with it and that's all that matters.
 
Thank you for the information. Agreed, fun is number 1. The ability to shoot anywhere, anytime is a great bonus, and not having to wear ear-muffs counts as well. Happy that you like the gun, one of these days I will stop just staring at it when I go to Cible and get one of them. Enjoy.
