I am trying to choose the scope for my PE90 and just realized that I am lacking the basic knowledge about scopes. So I would appreciate if someone could explain few things to me.
-Does any scope work for any caliber rifle or there is a certain scope for certain caliber?
-What is the bullet drop compensator?

More questions to come.

Scope PE90

In theory any scope could work, but some scopes are definitely better than others. The PE90 is a very nice rifle and one question that remains is how much do you want to spend on a scope? What distances will you be shooting at. Have you or are you looking for a Tactical scope, standard cross-hairs or a scope with illumination.

Perhaps something along the line of a 4-16x50mm AO Tactical or Sport Dot might fit the bill. Or possibly a 3-10x44 Tactical or Sport Dot might be in order.

A bullet drop compensator is any device that is integral to the rifle telescope that is designed to compensate for the bullet's trajectory.

I've got scopes online at www.whitefalls.ca if you'd like to take a look.
