No Wild, I have known her my whole life. She has become very interested in my "hobbies" since we married. LOL. She loves to shoot and does very very well.

Ice - she was shooting out to 1125 yards with the 7wsm and making great hits with her 243 out to 900 yards using 70gr SMKs. we are now testing 95VLD's. after a rebarrel, she will be shooting 107's (hopefully).
 
a pic of the 1125 yard location. it is the top landing. a 1.5MOA sized rock is painted red. the bottom landing has a 750 yard rock painted. misc rocks all over that we range with the swaro and dial in using Exbal and or bulletflite on the ipod.

I am so glad it worked out for her (and you). It is a nice scope and being able to see well will make shooting at LR so much easier.

Glad to see you're up and about too.

That is a very nice spot. I assume you can drive into that clear cut. If you find that winds are irratic, consider staking some flags near your targets.

Helps alot.

Yes Jerry the winds at these locations is quite a challenge. We have surveyor tape set up all the way along. This day, the wind would gust up to 14mph and swirl everywhere. Ribbon is a great learning tool I tell ya. :D
 
I love the big boulder shots.
A neighbor has an old VW bug that he is going to let me drag out on my range. Going to put a mannikin in the driver seat and have at it. Should be good fun.
I happily leave the wife at home!

So... when you guys put out a target at distance, and you settle in behind your scope... and miss, but she replies with "I'd hit it"... is there a confusion as to her intended meaning? :D :D :D :D :D :D
