FFP question

What is the advantage and disavantage of a scope with FFP.
considering the 44 mm scope from falcon but they only have it in FFP

With FFP on a varible scope you can do mil dot rangeing on any power setting.

Yes that info is correct however you might ask why don't all scopes have this feature. The main reason is the reticle will grow larger or diminishes in size with the change in magnification. Some European scopes have this feature as well on their lower powered variables. Depending on the reticle pattern, at high magnification the reticle may grow to an extremely large dimension and obliterate some of the target. Also on the higher end scopes like Leupold MK 4's and Nightforce this adds several hundred dollars to the price. Phil.
