Fiber optic front sight for old eyes recommendation

I've got a new SAM Commander 1911 in 9mm and after firing it for a few times, it's obvious I'm going to have to get a fiber optic front sight. I'm relatively new to shooting and am looking for recommendations on make, type or anything else you think I should know. Thanks in advance.

I run Dawson FO sights on everything ... Can't go wrong with them, but there are other similar sights as well.

you'll need glasses of the right script [ full lens not bi/tri/vari focal ] to get a CLEAR CRISP front sight , without that the fiber optic won't do you much good past 10yds . computer focus is about right .

I've got the glasses already. I have a great optometrist who wears glasses and is also a shooter.

I use Dawson. Have both red and green, and find the red much better. Others like the green.

I have HIVIS fiber optic sights on a number of my pistols as well as two of my shotguns. Great product, priced well.
