Fiber optic rod for Shadow front sight

I broke the fiber optic rod on the front sight of my Shadow. What have you guys used as replacements? Did you order some from the CZ Custom shop or did you find another source for some? Do both the 1.0mm and 1.5mm version fit in the same sight but give a slightly different size dot?

The sights are specific to the size of the fiber optic. ie 1.0 or 1.5

Shadow comes with 1.5mm rod from factory. You can melt 1.0mm rod so that it stays in the sight but it'll wobble some and there is a chance it'll fall out later.

I personally bought FO rods from Angus in 1.0mm and 1.5mm. They are very bright red; used that new rod on Spartan and Para as it was much better rod; also used it on my Shadow as I once lost the rod during action in the middle of a stage

a 1mm rod will break quite quickly in a 1.5 site. Order the right size, 1.5mm is also known as .060 and 1mm as .040. both are often available at local archery shops.
