Fiberglass stock issue

That gap you see is normal.No worries.

The top of the stock where the reciever sits is not level/flush.

DO NOT sand the top of the stock level!!!!!!:eek:

Thanks Skullboy. Any pointiers on how to fix my prob. I'm guessing since there are so many layers of paint, I should completely strip it and redo it(which I didn't do before painting it the second time...dumb I know)? Damn Rookie. :)
 
Well, I hosed her down with laquer thinner and proceeded to scrap the 10 + layers of paint and primer off. Now I have a nice bright reddish colored stock. :)
.... and the rifle went back together....a bit stiff like before, but it went. So now its time to repaint it again. Yah for me.
