A friend recently acquired an older Ruger 44 Deerstalker carbine in good shape, complete with original sights. It's the older 70's version with the tube magazine, not the newer 44 Deerfield.
He's like to upgrade to a front fibre-optic sight blade with a rear peep sight setup, preferably something that is specifically made for this particular model that doesn't need gunsmithing.
I've looked at the Williams and Skinner sites but the either don't make it or I'm completely missing it...
Can anyone suggest a source for these sights?
