Hey guys~the one thing I don't like about my VR, Versa Max barrel has to be the invisible bead in bright sunlight. lol When I used my 870 to hunt, I bought one of those stick-on, Hi Viz fibre Optic jobs that actually did a great job, and held firm. I think I remember seeing a style that clipped onto the VR, but can't remember who made it/who had it. Not sure it would have worked on a Versa Max barrel anyway, the VRs are different. Can any of you suggest a decent quality one that holds to the VR mechanically (vs tape)? Link to a CGN sponsor who has them would be immensely helpful if you know...but otherwise, make/model would be great.

thanks for taking a moment to respond!

If you can remove the current bead, you can put a tru-glo fiber optic sight that threads into the existing hole. That would be the way I would do it as its a clean install. Not a fan of those ugly clip ons. The Tru-Glow sights are about $20

I run Hi-Viz TriComp on my Benelli. I find the TriComp makes me able to shoot slugs way better with the triangle shape, And I find it very bright. 8 years on the gun haven't broke the fiber yet. The bead is installed in the same hole that your current bead is thread in.

Hey DWZ~thanks, that's the plan actually. A local shop has them in stock, likely getting next weekend. Thanks for the tip!
