Field Target Dealer

There are air rifles that can be used for field target. There are no dealers specializing in field target as it isn't popular enough to sustain a business.

The dealers who sell quality air rifles, some of which are often used in FT include Airgun Source and D&L Airguns. Other dealers who have a variety of airguns include Airguns Plus, Canada Shooting Supply, and Oshoot. Nordic and Tesro have airguns primarily for 10 meter shooting sports.

Airgun source mostly

air gun archery fun is ok

international imports might bring in walther

Nordic marksman for anschutz and anschutz jackets and thune field target jackets are the best

older gentleman in sask brings in styer depending on current exchange rate

D& l airgun is useless for walther as they don’t ship much to Canada

looking for something specific or planning bringing something in

you may have my phone number if you need it

the new one has some pretty good reviews so far

clearer glass, holds point of aim and does not wander like some others have done in the past

expensive but if it works it will sell

I have 2 of the old ones still in the box yet to unpack

The problem what I found with Sightrons is that a claimed 10-40 or 10-50 power and you zoom slowly when it gets about 80-85% you can see the picture start loosing clarity ... at full power blurry.

For the money I would suggest having a closer look for Falcon X50T (target) or X50F (Field Target). Made in Japan glass if that is any value to you.
I got mine X50T (long range) from Krales https://www.krale.shop/en/catalogsearch/result/index?q=falcon

Edit: Here is the guy who knows scopes, can't find the email but you will find him there:

Clearly an overstatement. I've used many high magnification Sightron scopes, some for years, and have never found this to be a problem.

It's possible that as high magnification scopes some models aren't as bright as others, but high magnification Sightron scopes aren't as you describe. While brightness is especially important for low light shooting conditions that can occur when hunting, for example, no one should have a problem clearly seeing the details of range targets such as 50 to 100 yards with SIII or better Sightron scopes. Even with SII 36X scopes there should be no problems seeing range targets clearly at least to 100 yards.

I only have one Sightron SIII Long Range, a 10-50x60 LRTD, so only a count of one, but this is definitely not an issue with mine. My son with the eyes of an eagle thinks it is wonderful at all magnifications if the parallax is set properly.

I am not looking for a fight or discussion about this. This is my observation based on - over 45 years in a photography hobby, and I know to talk about a glass and a glass quality.
I had a chance to compare in my gun club, side by side, the two Sightrons I tried ones above x40 started loosing the clarity... at full power no clarity all smooth contours only...
And btw I had over 15 scopes so far can't even remember, keeping only what is worth to me the rest is going back to trade... in past one year alone bought 3 scopes based on forums reviews and sold all those 3 scopes...
A Decent Clarity to me means - put one/any business card beside a 100 maters target, get back to your scope, and read the card.
All depend how far you want to reach, me very anal with these things.
Like always for5 every money there is something to buy.

OK, this has my interest piqued. Now, if I only knew what Field Target Parallax Correction Cam with DCEC Protection IS? Google time . . . LOL

OK, found it - and some other info. Really interested until I hit the SFP part. Not FFP. Don't know if a scope has to be SFP for sanctioned FT or HFT use, but I don't much care. I DO like the expanded parallax resolution and increased glass resolution a lot! But I care far more about my personal accuracy and ease of use when shooting and I have migrated almost completely to MIL with FFP allowing for immediate reticle holdover/unders without worrying about whatever the magnification is at. This scope seems to be targeted for the American market which seems to prefer SFP and MOA. On a positive note, maybe it will get some movement on someone coming out with something in the 4-20x50mm to 6-24x56mm range FFP and with much higher parallax resolution for the air pellet gun in a similar 30-60m range. And yes, I know, they are producing a MIL version but without FFP, meh.
