Fierce EDGE rifles

What coal can you seat to and still fit in the mag? My hs rifles require a pretty short coal to fit in the mag. I have 230 berger hybrids seated 0.110" off the lands to fit through the mag, you might be surprised by playing with a deeper seating depth. The fierce cycles the wsm smothly?

I believe my coal was 2.900, which was 50 thou. off the lands(165 nosler accubonds). Anything longer, would not have worked in the mag. Yes, it cycles smoothly, but scratched the cases(brass) a little bit. I sanded the inside edge of the mag and it almost eliminated it. I found the sako finnlight a lilltle smoother cycling. I will load up some more ammo and shoot them when I am fresh! The gun will shoot these better especially when I fireform the cases and necksize them and prep them properly. I found I had better luck for accuracy neck sizing most of the time. These test loads were with new brass, untouched. So I was impressed.

I will be shooting the rifle again soon, and see what it can do. I loaded more ammo to try out and bought a new Swarovski Z3 4-12X50 scope. It mounted on this rifle great with about an 1/8 inch clearance between the barrel and the scope (talley med rings). It is not an overly large scope either and light! The other scopes I was looking at were to large and heavy, some 10oz. more. All ammo loaded at 2.900 COL. because of the mag.

Is selling a Tikka T3 stainless camo syn. 300WSM with a 3.5-10X40 Leupold, optilock bases and rings, limb saver pad for $1500 reasonable? It cost $between $2300 and $2400 new last year???

That should be a nice setup with the swaro :)
I bought a 6.5-284 off the ee while I am waiting for my edge, turned out to be a pretty sweet shooting rifle, I really only wanted the scope, but now I don't want to sell the rifle...
