I have a Savage 1899 that was the victim of a poor D&T job.
I'd like to find someone who could fill the screw holes and hide them.
I have a no-drill mount and a tang sight so the holes are both ugly and superfluous.
Anyone to recommend?
Thanks,
Kevin

He's a professional and can fill them with a that'll do or make them invisible. It's a money thing.

i had nasty holes drill on a mdl 27 marlin ..dennis on here explained how to make and install a plug..i did it and blended it with markle brown and you can`t see any siyn of a hole .

Maybe Dennis could give us the run down once again ....I'm interested as well I have a cooey some caveman tried to D+T once upon a time.

well i will tell you what i did first you run a endmill into the hole . then turn a tapered plug and drive it in carefully . file it off and match the color . in my case the old marlin was brown so color matching was easy ...my grandson has 18 year old eyes and he can not see were the plugs are
