I seen this ( somewhat rare ? ) Fin Civil Guard rifle at a local gunshop .With taxes the price will be just under $145 .
The top handguard is broken near the rearband and the sling hangers are missing .
Are the proper parts available ?...or would you pass on this ...

The blueing is worn , which doesn't really bother me , no rust externally.
Bore is dirty , kinda hard to tell , but the rifling looked good from what I could see.
The stock appears to be solid .
It has a stepped barrel , but I'm not sure if it's a Swiss or German .

If it's swiss, it will say Schweiz Industrie Gesselchaft, Neuhausen along the woodline over the chamber.

These are really rare rifles, $145 is a steal. I wouldn't sell my SIG or BS M24's for anything uder $400+ on the exchange forum ;)

Hey guys while on the topic what would that rifle go for in very good plus condition?

I wouldn't personally sell ANY M24 or under $400. They WILL appreciate quickly given all the new Mosin collectors thanks to the cheap Russian refurbs.

Thanks Claven2. I saved this one from being made into a lamp (literally) research I did a few years ago indicates it was rebuilt/ rebarreled by a women's organization.

I was a day too late to save it's mate which now features a dimmer switch.LOL.
