UPDATE: New video (11 minutes) now embedded below the teaser.

A few weeks after the action and this IPSC BC Provincial Championships event video is almost done. The goal of the video is to make it easy for our friends and loved ones to understand what's interesting and positive about the sport by showing them the full experience of an event. This might also interest newcomers.

In the meantime here is a teaser of what's to come. It's short.

The video is on this YouTube Channel. Updates will be posted here or at this Facebook page.

Hope this helps the sport.

I watched it three times on the B.C. website this morning. It's an outstanding video. You did an amazing job. Sent the info to USPSA Alaska friends, who have asked me what IPSC is like in Canada, waaaay to many times......this video is what IPSC is like in Canada.

awesome video, i truly cant stop watching it. this event was part my life for 8 months, and you captured it perfectly, thank you for all your hard work, i know you had a mountain of footage to go thru.

Hats off to Pat and Alastair for putting on such a great match. For those of you who were sad stage 2 was removed please note footage from that stage helped me make the finale.

I commented on the youtube link itself but needed to add I just showed the entire video to a room full of people who don't shoot (and my better half who does shoot) and even they thought it was an outstanding bit of cinematography. I hope you make more of the same in the future!

This is EXACTLY why this was made. I hope we've moved their thinking forward and broken down some stereotypes. Unless you were wearing face-paint and sharpening a knife the whole time.
