Our gang this year were lucky enough to get 3 Deer in the bow season , another person and I shot a Doe and our newest member of the Wolf pack ..lol shot his first Deer ever and with a compound bow at that !!
We were all very happy and a bit jealous too.
I got this big Doe when she walked out at 30 yds with 2 others at 30 yds , she only circled about 20 yards and laid down.
This is apic beside the other Doe that was shot at aprox the same time but afew clicks away.It is a little smaller with less white on the belly and had a little black patch on the tail
There was an unusual tree growing 30 yds from my treestand , it grew on top of a rock !
And a pic of the OP,s 1st ever buck !! It was a scrappy little buck as it has a broken tine too !!
Really nice being out with a good bunch of guys and having a successfull hunt as well .There were alot of laughs and a few ill hunters some mornings but great to be out .
