Our gang this year were lucky enough to get 3 Deer in the bow season , another person and I shot a Doe and our newest member of the Wolf pack ..lol shot his first Deer ever and with a compound bow at that !!
We were all very happy and a bit jealous too.

I got this big Doe when she walked out at 30 yds with 2 others at 30 yds , she only circled about 20 yards and laid down.

This is apic beside the other Doe that was shot at aprox the same time but afew clicks away.It is a little smaller with less white on the belly and had a little black patch on the tail

Really nice being out with a good bunch of guys and having a successfull hunt as well .There were alot of laughs and a few ill hunters some mornings but great to be out . :)

Looks liek a good time.... Nature can be amazing.... just think of how that tree likely started as a little sapilng growing in a patch of dirt wedged between the rocks.... always nice to have something neat to look at from your tree stand...

Nice to hear of your gang's success! What crossbow are you running with?

Cheers
Jay

Its a Excalibur Vortex .When I bought it I added the check rest and upgraded to a luminesent reticle pattern scope and camo scope cover.Boltcutter 150 grain broadheads.

I just bought a flemish string for it tonight as my friends use and recommended them as you gain a bit of arrow speed.I hear they stretch a bit so you have to watch for that .

Congratulations and thanks for sharing the pictures. Here in the Parry Sound area you see many trees growing on rocks but I haven’t seen anything that neat yet.
