Finally bought a handgun laser..

Hehe nice lil laser. Fun little things. I was playing with one of the green lasers today, almost bought it but I already have a LAM.

I have it mounted on a Ruger P345 with a 20mm picatinny rail. When I first tried to attach it I thought the mount was too narrow but just had to widen it a bit with a flat head screw driver. Works amazing. 200 rounds so far so good.
 
I've often wondered about the quality of this stuff. But when you take into account the price paid...... If you do a search for Eotech on Ebay, you will come up with several hundred Eotech 552 Replica units, for about $90 ea.
 
Well I went to the range today and not only was the laser off target completely, the light would come on and off and it wasn't the battery. Finally, the whole unit fell off the gun and I thought it was on really tight, too much recoil on my .45?!?! This was all within 50 rounds of shooting! I guess you do get what you pay for. Should have listened to Steve David who told me lasers are garbage and a waste of money!
