After alot of hemming, hawing, weighing pro's and cons of caliber's and rifles I finally came to a decision. I went to an out of town gunstore to look at one rifle and this one just jumped up and grabbed me. Ruger M77MKII in stainless, laminate heavy barrelled. It was used but unfired and came with scope, Banner 6-18 that will be upgraded later. The gun should fit the bill for 600 yard max on coyotes, crows and GH's. I hope it will shoot as good as it looks. The trigger is awesome. I think it breaks at around 2 lbs. by the feel of it.
I'll post pics soon...
It should compliment my Ruger M77 MKII standard in .22-250 which I upgraded the trigger on and shoots that winchester white box ammo lights out.
Anyone have experience with this rifle that can recomend loads for it?

Thats a good choice. What caliber ?????

I have the same in 308 with the synthetic stock, and my buddy has the exact one you have, and they are both are tack drivers. If your trigger is breaking at 2lbs then it has been worked on or replaced.( Which is good since Rugers have heavy triggers) The scope that came with it is an entry level scope( under $150) so I hope they did not jack the price to much because of the included scope.

Have fun with it. :dancingbanana:
