Well, it's been a long few years having the rifle made over into what it is today. It started life as a Remington Sendero and wound up being a full blown custom. Shoots like a house on fire and I'm finally satisfied (for now). Just thought I'd share. Cheers,

John

Mine is the AICS stocked rifle, the other is my buddy "Yardape's".

Most of the smithing was done by Corlane (Rocky Mountain Rifles) out of Dawson Creek. The bedding and installation of the new stock I did myself.

Very nice piece of kit. Whats she wearin' for optics, Cal....?

My Sendero is with TMWSNBN getting tricked out as well, can't wait to get it back and do some shooting.

It's a Nightforce 5.5-22x50 with NP-R1 reticle.
Gaillard barrel chambered for .300 win mag.
TPS rings and Farrel 20 MOA base.

It weighs a ton but is pretty sturdy. Thats what I specified when I had it built. Had to be accurate and bomb-proof. I use it for hunting and target shooting.

Cheers,

John

how do you like the NP-R1 reticle??it looks a tad busy.I plan on a 3.5/15 for my LTR

I love it! I used to have the NP-R2 on it but found that the spacing was a little much for use in competitions and I was constantly dialing the scope.

It is a tad busy but I find when I'm focusing in on a shot I can "tune out" all the clutter. I like the fact that once I have my zero set I don't really have tho dial the scope at all. Just know which line to use and shoot.

Those are some impressive groups. Especially off a bipod. Good to see you can shoot as well as your gun. This is tactical shooting anyways, who needs a bench.

It was around the $1200 mark with the sling clips and handstop. Also keep in mind that it comes with one of the best removable mag systems on the market. 5 rounds of .300 win mag is nice.
