Finally finished my homemade trigger guard

About 8 hours work and a couple weeks of waiting for my bluing juice to clear customs, but I'm finally done with project trigger guard. I think she likes it! It still has to soak in hot used motor oil for a bit, and it will darken up a bit more over the next week, but it already looks stellar compared to the old plastic one.

Here is the original plastic nightmare (sorry mossy purists... My opinion only, the original one is in safe storage)

Thanks guys. I honestly had doubts about it in the rough draft stage, but surprised myself with how not-homemade looking it turned out. Goes to show what you can do with a really simple set of tools and some elbow grease.
