Found a nice 60's edition at a reasonable price, can't wait to be stuck in camp next week with some quite evenings to read.

You need to find a copy of Karamojo Safari as well if you don't already have one. The BEST account I've ever read of what it was like to be on an old-fashioned foot safari amongst the wild tribes of Africa.

Excellent read.............I have all three of Bell's books and they are very good reading, read all three several times. Taylor is another fine author of the later times near the end of elephant ivory hunting.

Ardent......I've purchesed most of my books from Safari Press, are you aware of them? I've got Bell's, Taylor's, Sanchez-Arino, Corbetts, Hemmingway's, all of Capsticks, Boyes, Patterson's, all the way back to Cornwallis Harris. I support them often as they are the only company making an effort to keep thse books in print and they have had all the old classics over the years. Fantastic company to deal with as well, very prompt, get my highest recommendation.
