Bigbore : its pretty hard , but i can not find a manual says what kind of material it use. it comes with the Reminton Maunal that is same to every their guns. The guy in the shop said this thing will eventually break and convice me to buy a 100+ metal stock.....

Picatinny rail + Picatinny Mount + Surefire G2 light would be a cheaper choice or just a surefire forend do all~?

is it possible to mount rail and mout on the 870 ?

By experience, the mount AND the light WILL come off the gun after about 20 hot round.
Go for something with rail.
