Finally got my hands on the ACR DMR.

Had to travel all the way to Nashville to do it.


So nice. Great trigger on it.

The RemDef one is nicer.


I was told the wait is large in part to the relocation of their facilities. The rep was pretty surprised to hear people are buying ACRs just to chop the barrels out and have custom ones put on just to make non-restricted.

So there you go probably nothing anyone hasn't heard before just thought I'd gloat. Keep waiting....

How was the weight distribution? Was it forward heavy like the xcr? Or overall heavy like the swiss arms?

To tell you the truth I don't remember much difference in weight between the two rifles. Seemed well balanced to me.

Much nicer without the quadrail.
Good to hear they still have plans for the rifle even if they are very behind schedule.
