My PAL FINALLY came in the mail. So I got my SKS from my brothers place and put on all the parts I had sitting around for it.
Previously I shortened the barrel on this gun to 18.5 inches and cut the front sight down as well as ground off the bayonet lugs. Then I TRIED to put a pin on break on there, but the break I bought was just sloppy big. I put the pin in and the break just flopped around. So, I took it to a buddy who spot welded it on for me, I ground the welds smooth and blued it. I think it looks sweet.
Only other real changes are a metal upper hand guard and recoil buffer. I have a side mount and quick release optics mount to go on at some point but im not up to drilling tapping just yet. Ill post up pics when I get that on though.
