Finally have a VZ58 thanks to Kelly's Sporting Goods!!!

Just wanted to post a quick thanks to Kelly's Sporting Goods. Been on the lookout for a VZ58 for over a year but everyone and their dog was sold out. The wife found Kelly's site and realized they not only have VZs, they have both the standard barrel version and the chrome lined barrel. Ordered myself a chrome lined 9 days ago (and paid what everyone else was asking for the regular version) and it showed up today.
It's even better then I expected, the expandable stock is amazing quality and the mags are a super snug fit. WAY nicer then any of my buddies VZs.

Thanks Kelly's. I'll definitely be back.

what i'd really like is a restricted original (15.5" beaver barf VZ) not a fan of AR stock on anything else than an AR personally... these are nowhere to be found tho.

my issue with the beaver barf is that its 2 inches shorter in the stock than the collapsible one. I can't line up the sights with the short stock. And I refuse to purchase the stock extension for 100 dollars from the Czech republic

Doesn't seem to be that many of these around... I like the original stock, swapped it for real wood and it's even better.

SO just buy the restricted model, with the AR stock, just to get the basic rifle, and you can search the web and find the beaver barf stock sets in a number of places, like eBay for instance, for not too much, and just swap the stock. But don't search for Vz58 'beaver barf' on eBay, I doubt it's listed as that. ;-)
