After 15 years of looking and being bitten by the TC contender bug,then getting discouraged cause I couldn't find a certain barrel I really wanted, and selling my original frame and barrels it showed up in the EE forum...A 45-70 barrel in minty shape from a fellow CGN member

Well it became mine and in another forum I located a frame which was also mint shape...3 weeks later its finally starting to take shape now and all I need is a few shell holders to start reloading for it and a set of 30mm dia rings to fit the scope.I had a spare tasco world class scope screaming to be abused so its going on it. Its a 4x30 with AO and target turrets...This should be fun when I am finally up and running with it!!

No idea about the scope. It seems to be built pretty sturdy.30mm steel tube etc etc...I will start with some lighter 340 grain cast loads and work up from there. Hate to wreck a good scope on it..
