Gotta love Savages!!

Now you need an Eagle Cheek Pad, M24 Sniper Sling, Red Man bean bag, scope dope and drag bag to go with it :D

Cheek Pad - replacing stock soon, for now getting adjustable cheek pad
Sling - will get but those sniper slings are priced to kill :(
Bean Bag - that I do need

How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?

I am looking at getting a rig that's pretty much identical to that. Let us know how it shoots!

rifle - about $700
scope - about $400
bipod - $100
rings + bases - about $220
--------------------------
final rig is priceless :D

so about $1500
next is stock B&C, glass-bed, sling ;),

Just gave Frontier my cc# for a 110FP in 7mm Rem Mag 8) Spent the last few hours studying reload info, looking like 162 AMax's for a starter.

Where do I find an adjustable cheek rest?

Why did you decide on a savage vs. others available? Im looking for a rifle also so just curious. Right now its between the 700P LTR 20" and 700P 26". However still concidering others.

I'm a Savage type of a guy

Savage is easier to work on if you want to make adjustments without a gunsmith, barell swap is just a nut away, Accutrigger is crisp and user adjustable from 4lbs-1 1/2 lbs, Savages have grea reliability and accuracy :50cal:
