Weather has been getting better on the east coast so I took a buddy out shooting, his first time with pistols and he had fun...

Little SR9 worked great like the first time and got to try my new DA1911...I know it's a cheap 45 but it worked like a champ, all I did before was to clean it up and use a little emery board to smooth out the rough edges on the frame...

All ready for a cleaning haha...

Funny, I know you guys had a sh*^^y winter....but I'm just coming out of shooting weather.....got tooooooo many other time consumming interests in the good weather...so I really only shoot in the winter...our range is quite well set up for it, and soooo quiet...have fun, be safe...

I went on a couple of nicer days...but -20 with winds when you have to treck 1km through 10ft of snow...yeah not much winter shooting this year haha...at least the range was a little busy so there was a beaten trail to get there on the nice days.

It's been really nice out west here for over a month already! Been out shooting about 3 times a week lately. It's awesome to get out though and not freeze your arse off.
 
Nothing beats hitting up an outdoor range on a gorgeous sunny sat/sun afternoon with a nice selection on high end toys.

Last week was beautiful.....went to Silverdale outdoor range....just brought out my pistols. My Colt Government Model .45 and my Beretta M9, and 3 boxes each of FMJ hand ball ammo. When I was finished and driving home, it felt like I just got laid lol....or used intra-venis Diamorphine....I was floating home in euphoric bliss :)

Having a nice range session on a beautuil day is my therapy session.

I made it back out yesterday for a little while and there was another guy shooting...he let me try his limited edition civilian version of the C8 released by Colt...crazy accurate rifle...very cool to try!

Thank God the nice weather is back...and happy shooting is right!
 
I shoot mostly handgun indoors in the winter and rifle outdoors in the summer. I definitely shoot less in the summer since I like to go wilderness canoeing as much as I can
