This guy sells them loaded as well as the components but what with him being in the states that might be an issue.

This guy has the brass, but it seems like he's in some sort of trouble with the RCMP, so there might be an issue there.

Maybe call around to some of the bigger dealers and see if they can get you what you need? If its available in the states, odds are someone can get it here.

Marstar has some MH rifles in .577 so maybe they have a source for ammo.

Slug you barrel first. I understand that the lands diameter may vary,. also you may be lucky, standard 45/4585 bullets may work in your rifle.

Shooter's Choice, in Waterloo sells Bertram .577-450 brass. Not cheap at $154.95 per 20.
Bullets are easier. Uses a 350 to 500 grain .460" cast bullet and BP.
Epp's might have brass or ammo too.
Got access to a lathe or know a machinist? I have a how-to(with load data) for making reloadable 70 grain capacity brass out of 3/4" bar stock. No dies required. E-mail me if you want it. toheir@hotmail.com
Buffalo Arms no longer ships brass to Canada in compliance with U.S. law. Requires the U.S. export permit and they were finally caught.

I got my brass from Buffalo Arms a while back, but that is not an option anymore.

I bought some 45-70 cast bullets with gas checks, from P&D, yes they are a little small but its not a big deal for me, I just like to take the old girl out and fire a few rounds from time to time.

Don't know where you live, but Williams is a dealer/supplier for M.T. Chambers' bullets and can get the .465 or .466" bullets that your M-H craves, as well as .475 .476" bullets. The bullet making operation itself is closed for 2 weeks as it is moving to new location.
