Finding 12 GA ammo

I've been trying to find some factory 12 gauge ammunition for my Winchester SXP shotgun. I saw that Federal makes a premium upland 2 3/4", #6 shot that runs at about 1450-1500 fps and Winchester has something similar. For the life of me I can not find any of these in Canada. Does anyone know if there is a law or something preventing us from getting more powerful shotgun loads? Even their hi-brass stuff is out of stock on the online retailers.

The Americans are currently buying up everything. It's hard even for Americans to find ammo and cheap right now. Perhaps looks at one of the Canadian producers like Challenger or SCORE, or reload.
