Mission impossible? Do I need to bookmark every retailer, sign up for email notification and just pray I get lucky?

anyone have any idea if the supply will meet the demand?

They come up occasionally at dealers and the EE has had some nice ones lately. There’s some out there…

They come and go, there is no reliable supply. Get on a list with your preferred retailers if you want new, or watch used listings closely. WTB ads here and the other sites can work, if you're willing to put in the time and effort.

Did you check Prophet River?

Just did a quick search and found half a dozen new ones listed by popular dealers so I'm not sure what the problem is. Maybe your looking for a specific make and configuration?

Anything that isn't Chiappa or a mare's leg

care to share your results here as I spent a good chunk of time yesterday with zero luck (with that criteria)

Only via google, but I'll check there now.... some of these gun websites and their search features leave a little to be desired... .I feel like I've time warped to 2004 HTML classes in college

For anything where stock level changes very often, they will rarely show up in direct Google search results. There's no way around clicking through to the individual retailer sites and doing an internal search on each. If you're fancy, you can bookmark the search results pages of those individual sites, and keep them all in one folder for quick reference.

ah thank you appreciate that

Just missed a nice one on the EE. 16” stainless Rossi. Had I noticed I likely would have gone for it myself.

They are out there, they just may not be the flavour you are looking for. I am waiting for the Henry Big Boy X or the Levtac in 357. I missed out on the Wolverene restock of the Levtacs a few weeks ago and I am kicking my self.

I looked for a long time to find a 357 lever till I got one. I ordered one of the Levtac 92s from wolverine. Its not really what I wanted but it’s all that was available. It’s really fun so far but it’s far from perfect. There’s a few common issues with these rifles but nothing that’s too major.

I’m still on the list for a Henry from PR but it might be a long wait. The Henry is definitely a nicer rifle, but since they’re unavailable a compromise had to be made.

If you buy a Citadel Levtac, first thing is take off the picatinny rail and clean up the oil and remove the red stuff in the holes. Second thing is get a 5-40 tap because they are weak threads. Third is get longer 5-40 screws. The 2 factory rearward screws sits well but the 2 front screws do not, as if the screw holes were not counter sunk properly on the pic rail. Blue loctite all screws. There are known problems with the pic rail ripping off, you don't want your expensive optic hitting the floor.

Loading gate is a pain and scratches very easily. 10 rounds later and its ugly.

Its my most expensive rifle I bought at $1370.64 and is a total disappointment. This rifle will never be sold to someone else. It will be my beater rifle until it dies.

I myself caved for the Citadel because I am waiting for a Henry Big Boy X 357 which could take forever

I would suggest getting the regular Rossi 92 and putting on Costa Rossi rail system if you want the tacticool look, pic rail is mounted to the handguard making it very robust
