Finding finnish m28 30

Hi people
Ive always wanted a finnish m28/30 . Where would a person begin looking for one other than watching the ee? If anybody has any ideas i would be very gratefull.

I would put up a want to buy in the EE as well. Otherwise, it is time spent searching. Gun shows, asking around, possibly importing if it means enough to you. The M28/30 is not a common rifle in Canada. I had one for a little bit, but I have only seen maybe 5 for sale since I started collecting.

Based on what I've been seeing them listed/sold for, you would be further ahead to buy one in the US and have it imported. They are still a $800-$1000 rifle down there, seem to go for 2-3x that here.

Here's Mine:

Looks a bit weathered on the outside but the heavy barrel rifling is excellent. Maybe rebarrled or not used much.

Another option is Finland, some of the online sales sites show 28/30s, but they are more than from the US

I have one that caused quite a stir on a couple of US collector sites. IIRC it was something to do with the rear sight, which is serialed. One fellow was intrigued by the rifle, and told me it may be one of a kind or one of a very few. All it has on the barrel is the SAKO gear, no other marking, at least that I could see. There may be some marks under the wood It is not for sale at this time.
