Finding Glock complete slides and parts

Just curious how the rest of you are making out sourcing HG parts, specifically Glock parts?

I’m slowly finding this and that but was curious how many have managed to find a complete slide at a actual reasonable price? I just missed out on the IRUNGUNS complete slides for $420US. Floored at people outrageous asking prices in the EE, it laughable when you can part it together for cheaper.

Now correct me if I’m wrong but can’t you run a 920 setup on a Glock frame? If so, does anyone know of any stores/distributors that have or get these in?

I order from US companies that ship to Canada like Shalotek, Brownells, or use ###### Armory. 1/3 price than what people selling for here after shipping, exchange, duty.
 
If you are trying to get a Glock together, you have ten times as many options as anyone putting anything else. There are a number of us trying to build out 1911 .45 auto frames picked up last fall, but almost nothing around for top end parts.

That being said, there was a good deal on used 1911 barrels at the Edmonton gun show today.

The prices people are asking are ludicrous, but what can you do. Well, you can import, that’s what I do and it’s a lot easier than people think. I’ve seen people trying to sell PSA slides that were $279US for the optic cut slide three months ago for $1000 Canadian ffs. There are still a few Canadian sources for reasonably priced Glock parts but scarce, Saskatoon Gunworks has some blank slides and barrels, but it’s mostly a piece here and there. I buy what I can when I see it, Glock parts will always come in handy

IRunGuns Canada will surely get more in, but who knows when? I'd check the IRG US site. I've ordered lots of parts from them, they always arrive as promised.
 
If you're looking for a full parts kit, IRunGuns said that you can order pistols from the US store and specify "strip frame" in the order instruction and they will ship you every part of the gun except for the frame. Might be a bit pricier, but at least you'll have a spare everything.
