Finding inexpensive lead shot in B.C. Lower Mainland

I'm looking for inexpensive lead shot for reloading shotshells in the B.C. Lower Mainland.
The price of commercial lead shot from retailers has gotten too expensive.
Is there anyone making it themselves around here?
I know that Vancouver Gun club used to mine it, but they were shut down.
Any info would be great!

Cars and trucks have lead weights to balance them.....go to a couple tire shops and see what they do with the lead weights they discard. Or go "harvest" them yourself

Back in 1996 I used to buy recycled lead shot from the Victoria or Saanich trap shooting club. It had 7.5-8-9 sized shot in it, but it still worked great. They clean it and relube it, then bag it and sell it.
I don't know if they still exist but its worth a search!
I used to buy 10-25lb bags at once for $150. Those were the days.
