Finish questions on Norinco 1911...

I'm going to pick up a pistol from Marstar in the next few weeks, and I'm looking at the 9mm 1911 double stack. How are the exterior finishes on these guns? Some of the pics on the Marstar site make them look really ugly. I plan on changing the grips ASAP. Does anyone have a good photo to post up of an unmodified 1911 from Norinco? Thanks.

The only thing I have done is changed the grips... the finish is great on my NP30

It fits into the slide okay, but barrel is too snug. What is OD of NP30 barrel compared to other 1911s? Dunno.

A lot of drop in parts need to be fitted.

If the barrel is too tight , make up a flap wheel and use it inside the bushing, until the barrel fits.
