Got her all back together. Bayo is real Russian - came from Districorp. The front bayo lug is from Marstar. I think it's not Russian though - likely chinese. Oh well. You can't tell unless you are looking for it. Otherwise she's tip-top :)

You can see the half-inch counter-bore in the pic of the muzzle, probably to clean up a damaged muzzle during the refurb.

She's all matching, even the mag too ;)

Still might trade it away though for the rifle bolt gun (milsurp) or '45LC Lever gun. We'll see.

OK, it's posted in the EE now with a really nice write-up about it. :) Not for sale though, so she might end up staying in the flock. I have mixed feelings about letting her go... :(

I would keep it, but I have other SKS's and VZ58S's that I abuse with ammo. This one is more of a collectable and someone who appreciates it should have it :)

I just ammended my ad in the EE to reflect a sale price b/c I've found another gun I'd like to have instead, so if anyone was hoping to pay cash, that option is now available ;)

saw you list of rifles you don't want to trade for in EE

wow your getting pickey :)

The collection is excessively large - more so than usual lately. I have nothing against those other rifles, they'd just be doubles, triples or even quadruples of stuff I already have. Ask anyone who's seen the gun room recently... space... it's getting dire :(

I hate being poor...:(
I wonder if it was counter-bored for some sort of flash hider?

You guess is as good as mine... most of the Russian SKS rifles currently in Canada are either Korean War vet returns or surplus from Syria. They have been here quite a while too - since the 80's at least.

Who knows what happened to these rifles in their past lives??? At least it's only c/b'd a very short amount.

As for the money, bear in mind, that price is shipped express, insured, anywhere in Canada. If you're in Ottawa, or want SLOOOOW uninsured shipping, PM me and we can try to work something out.
