Anyone know if the grip cap on the stock can be changed to a stylish metal piece or must one leave the black plastic one that is screwed on at the factory. I'm talking about the heel of the grip where say Weatherby places their recognizable rosewood end with an ivory diamond shape. Wanted to change it because it looks kinda cheap. If anyone knows were to purchase or who makes custom ones, say with a red "W", please let me know. Thanks Its for a Win M70

You can buy metal inletting grip caps. Brownells and Dixie Gun Works have them.

I just replace the plastic ones with the metal ones Winchester put on thier Supergrades. Brownells has them. Product #910-000-165.

I found one on Ebay in silver and a Moose motif. Just took off plastic one and "Gorilla glued" the metal one,Looks great!!!JITC
