Tyler, it's a fake made from finn capture. With several hundred prototypes being made what are the chances to find one for sale? Not to mention that SKTs and AVTs look differently.

Oh yeah, you could tell just by the way the guy WROTE, never mind the pristine looking stock - how often do you see a Finn that doesn't have a beat up stock? The sad thing is, she was probably a beauty before being bubba'd

All carbine length tok svt-40's with SA markings(Finnish)where altered by Importer and have no collector value. It is said that perhaps only 2000 svt40 carbines where ever produced by the USSR.

I don't think those Americans who bid on this listing ever read Ratnik's thread on here - they probably believe they bought an authentic SVT sniper....
