Finnish M-27 Bore Question

Hello all,

I have a "D" marked Finnish M-27. I have slugged the bore and it reads .310 on my calipers. Is it safe to use Russian/Czech .311 rounds in this bore? Will there be alot of wear if I do? Suggestions?

I dont think .001 will be a problem and the "D" means its can take Soviet ammo.

*Nods* Yes, I confirmed it through 3 sources, Russian ammo is good to go. Excellent. Any idea if I can find Finnish 7.62X53R ammo here in Canada? It's the same stuff, but tighter tolerances.

D is .310 or larger for captured Soviet ammo as some of the Finn rebuilds were .308 bore 7.62X53R..............Harold
