Finnish M1938 Mosin Nagant

An unusual M1938 MN I acquired recently. 1943 Izhevsk. 2 piece Finnish stock with sling bales. Finnish makers stamp on the stock. Matching (re-numbered floorplate). No "SA" stamp.

You don't see those everyday, very nice, a collectors piece for sure .

Watch out.If there is no SA stamp on receiver chances are you are looking at M44 fitted with Finnish made 91/30 shortened stock.

Plenty of fakes around,Mauser and Lee Enfield mostly but Mosins too since folks like them and cheap ammo.
