Fiocchi 223 Rem 40 gr Vmax Review

I got a fair deal on a bunch of Fiocchi 223 Rem in 40 gr Vmax, loaded in the US.

The gun - Rem 700 BDL factory heavy barrel, Leupold VX3 6.5-20.



Shoots good on breezy day at 100 yrds. Dirty like most small calibres from my experience. Brass appears to be consistent. Slightly heavier than Lapua and said to have very tight primer pockets.
I have some 50 gr Vmax Fiocchi's coming to and will review them as well.

I have used the 55 gr. Fiocchi in my Kel-tec and it shoots very nice, 1" at 100 yards. Haven't tried the lighter bullets.

The 50 grain vmax shoot equally as well, there were 7 shots at this target. 1 fouler. 3 -40 gr vmax and 3 -50 gr vmax.
I won't handload the 223 when they shoot like this. Give them a try and let me know what you think.
