Fiocchi 9mm Range Ammo Bulk Sale! Now $330/1000Rds!

Everyone is just too used to Amazon... shipping has continued to increase in cost right along with gas prices and inflation. Nothing a retailer can do to rectify that other than build the cost into the price of the item so you are paying shipping either way.

Correct, shipping has went through the roof however, their shipping prices are well above what the actual cost of shipping is and what other retailers are charging. Tell me how I can order 1000 rounds of 9mm from Alberta - Ontario and have shipping cost LESS than shipping it from Ontario-Ontario . I just had a massive two package order from northern Ontario get delivered on Monday. Total weight was just under 100lbs between the two packages. Both of them contained ammunition, powder, primers and projectiles. Shipped via UPS it was $102. For me to order this 1000 round case from them it will cost me $60...... REALLY

First, we arent talking about 250gr of anything, apples to apples. but... If you don't believe that you are paying the shipping in the price of the item, I can't help you see the forest for the trees.

Retailers must build in their profits into shipping cost. Ie.) offer discounted ammo for 339, but with shipping it’s 399 (let’s say the shipping is actually $20). So they’re actually selling for $379. Another retailer offer the same ammo for 399 with free shipping. But shipping for them is also $20. So they’re actually selling it for $379 too. In the end they make the same amount of money, but advertise the deal differently.

Do I believe that shipping is ridiculous- absolutely. I have shipped stuff and it is insane how much it costs.

But I also know that whatever Rangeview’s shipping quote system sucks. You add something tiny to your order and suddenly $40 more shipping is applied. It’s like it assumes everything requires its own large box, rather than a box appropriate for the order.

Other retailers have the shipping baked into their price. I’m sure it’s crazy expensive for them to ship ammo orders >$300 for free, but they figure out how to do it.

I gave up on Rangeview because their individual prices and sales look good, but shipping adds 40% to the cost.

ive seen this line of thinking before but it doesnt explain why a store 2 hours from me might charge double for shipping what a store on the other side of canada charges, and for a larger item at that further store too. and neither items where firearms or ammo in those cases.
