went to the range today with my new to me antique revolver and some of the fiocchi 455 mk 11 ammo It came with, out of 24 ish rounds at least halve required two or three tries before they would fire, the primers were dented each attempt and some actually had a hole after they fired is this just bad ammo or what?

I am using the 44 russian ( can use the brass) and no issues .I do recall a thread on 8mm having issues of incosistant /no pressure leaving bullets in barrel .Could be a product issue though

when it fires it defiantly fires, just kind of like a flint lock lol pull the trigger and wonder if there will be a bang or not, except the flint lock I shot averaged better.

I cant see it being the primers being so tough. I wonder if one of the springs in your revolver is weak causing light strikes?
