I guess I should have asked this in reloading but its more of a BR question.
I have about 100 Norma 22PPC brass I need to fire form prior to doing my work on the cases.
The question has anyone ever tried loading the shells with a small % of powder and using paper towl or toilet paper in the ends.
If so I have heard you can do this in the basement, it would save shooting a 100 needless round though the barrel?
Thanks Jason
EDIT
Thanks for the info but I think I left an important part out!
There 22PPC normas and I will be shooting a 22PPC sako factory rifle so the firforming is min!
I understand the method from going from 220 russian to 6mm PPC but how about 22PPC to 22PPC just to snug up the case to the chamber?
