I came across a copy of this 1936 book in one of my fav. secondhand shops in Bellingham WA earlier today and nearly bought it just out of interest. ($12.00) Turns out there is currently a copy on Amazon.com for $6.00 (+shipping of course, so about the same in the US, more to Canada), in addition to the usual over-priced ones. Might be aa good read for anyone interested in traditional techniques, although I suspect things may not really have changed that much.
