Thought it might be fun to do some Family portraits of Firearm for things they have in common. IE, design, country of design/adoption, or just the round they are chambered for.

....and I want an excuse to post pics of my FINALLY complete Ljungman/Hakim/Rasheed group :d

I have no slings on my Hakim or FN49 mostly due to the fact that NO ONE can tell me what the proper sling is.
 
Beautiful collection! I'm also working on completing the "DI family" I have the AG-42B aka Grandpa, and the Hakim aka Dad... just need the son now.

Question: Does your Rasheed, Hakim and Ag-42B have their original military finishes? They look much lighter than all other examples that I have seen.

None have original finishes. All of them were fix-er-uppers. lol
 
So I have this Danish Madsen bolt rifle that appears to be a bastard child of an AG 42 and a krag and a few others...it's got to be at least a cousin?
 
Family photos sounds fun! Here's a few I've snapped over the years in no particular order:

Portuguese WW1 Colonial rifles - Vergueiro M1904 in original 6.5x58mm, Mozambique depot marked and a Kropatschek M1889/91 colonial model in 8x58mm. From my understanding the regular army / white colonial troops got the Vergueiros and the Askari got the Kropatscheks.


Japanese WW2 arms - Arisaka T-38 and T-99, T-30 bayonet, T-95 Shin Gunto, T-14 Nambu and T-26 revolver.


Irish connection arms - Lee-Enfield RIC carbine, Irish Free State Army SMLE Mk.I***, Ulster Volunteers Mannlicher M1904, Mauser IG 71 (not an actual Howth Mauser but representative) and a generic Belgian SXS 12 Gauge as so widely used in the War of Independence.


US Civil War arms - 1861 Springfield and 1860 Spencer carbine.

It would be hard for me t beat some of the great entries here, but here's a couple that might interest.

Several unusual makes/variants of the No.1MkIII rifle, top to bottom: Ishapore 2A1, Canadian marked BSA No.1MkIII*, unissued Lithgow No.1MkIII*, RSAF Enfield No.1MkIII, SSA No.IMkIII* with volley sight "shallow", post-war Ishapore No.1MkIII*
