Hi all,

I've noticed over the years that now and then we tend to deride a particular end of firearms ownership, or a particular fashion of firearm.

So I'm creating a Love-In for everyone that owns a firearm. Period. If you own a single shot .22 held lovingly together with baling wire, or a matte-black tacticool whatchamacallit with picatinny disease, or some ancient black powder blunderbuss, or a double-stacked bling-encrusted IPSC thingamajig, or an engraved over/under, or a done-to-the-ta-tas 10/22, or some 0.01mm-barreled 12(6) derringer that used to be in some Cabaret dancer's garter, airgun or airsoft, it doesn't matter.

Do you own a firearm and conduct yourself as a responsible citizen of Canada? Then you become part of a fraternity of well-meaning, well-behaved people who are all keenly aware that we are Citizens of an excellent True North Strong and Free which we love dearly, even though sometimes the people we employ in government don't love us back as much as we would like.

You automatically have my respect, my acquaintance, and my support in keeping your hobbies unencumbered by regulation which is unsupported by hard evidence. I don't care what shape or colour or type of firearm you shoot, it all boils down to projectiles and targets!

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am happy to think of all of you as colleagues, mouse-gun, moose-gun, or paint-gun.

Please post your loving affirmations of the same or similar below, if you are so inclined.

Thanks for being part of such a wonderful community of people,
Phil

PS ADMIN: I messed up - can we move this to General Firearms Discussion? :D

I have no problems with people owning any gun at any ammo capacity they want.. just as long as they do it in safe and proper place.. Machine guns... small pistals if you want it I say you should be able to get it aslong as you do your best to keep it safe and prevent it from being stolen or out of hands of children so accidents dont happen in the home because kids were playing and found the gun...

Basicly saying that gun isnt for anything but killing people wrong.. all guns can kill someone period.. if its used to kill someone then its in the wrong hands and useing a gun or other weapon in a crime should carry a larger sentence
